Pepper and Salt Mills

Mills are sold as a set or individually. Each mill is finished with a hand rubbed tung oil, varnish, and turpentine combination and can easily be "touched up." They are guaranteed for life against defect in craftsmanship.

A detailed care and maintenance guide is also included.

Combo Mills

My hand crafted combo mills consist of a salt shaker on top and a pepper grinder on the bottom. The high quality grinding mechanism is adjustable for fineness of the pepper.

Bowls

My bowls are turned from many species of wood.

Local woods destined for the firebox typically produce many of the nicest results.

I use a four step process to produce a hand rubbed finish on each bowl. This begins with two coats of lacquer each wiped dry, and then three coats of my "home brew" consisting of varnish, tung oil, and turpentine. The bowls are then buffed with carnauba wax and finally rubbed down with microcrystaline wax. All are considered food safe after thirty days.

The bowls shown are examples of some of the bowls that I turn. If they are not currently available I can produce similar ones for you.
